Ayana, 5 months old, get in the same meeting Infanrix hexa and Prevenar 13: she died 2 months later.
On May 3, 2015, whereas in France only vaccinations against the diphteria, tetanus and the polio are obligatory before 18 months, but as the vaccine strictly corresponding to this obligation is inalienable, Ayana, 5 months old and healthy, is vaccinated in the same meeting, with Infanrix Hexa and Prevenar 13, by PMI (Maternal and Infantile Protection).
As of the following day, the child has an high fever: 42,5°C! The mom calls the regulating doctor who advises antalgic and tepid bath to the child, but does not judge convenient to send the SAMU (Service of Urgent Medical assistance): a little fever after a vaccine, it is usual!
The small girl remains motionless, fixed glance. On May 6, the parents decide to take along the child to the urgencies: considering the convulsions, the child is placed under oxygen, antibiotics and perfusion. Then she is transferred to the paediatric intensive care unit from Mans. Girl’s health get worse: she is plunged into an artificial coma and transferred to Angers.
The parents call upon a lawyer. The expert appointed by the court concludes that child’s brain is irremediably destroyed. After 40 days in coma, her parents accept the stop of the respiratory assistance. Ayana dies on July 15: it will have held 15 days without assistance!
On July 16, a short dispatch announces Ayana’s death “following very an high fever followed by convulsions after being vaccinated”. No detail on the managed vaccines…
Meanwhile the experts of course called upon a tragic coincidence whereas the note of Infanrix Hexa enumerates more than 800 possible side effects, of which convulsions, encephalitis, sudden death… and whereas the simultaneous shot of the both vaccines is the subject of warning statements for a long time, but remains recommended by the “vaccine calendar”!
